Fideles

After debuting on Afterlife imprint – Italian duo Fideles continues to thrive on their melodic/progressive/techno and “not so techno” sound. They just released “Cerchio” EP which basically means in Italian “to stand in a circle”. The track starts tribalistic with rising loopy synth that opens and closes as the tune progresses. It literally goes in a circle and retracts you to be in the circle. It creates dancefloor hysteria as it tops the peak time and subtly drops after the fine dose of reverberation. Tune is ecstatic in every way.

We switch to the second track in EP that goes under name of “Distorted Foam”. The Fideles sounds gets more and more recognized as it flirts with afro/tribal grooves and many sublime glitches, concrete and edgy sounds over one big melodic drive that goes on and on. Similarly, as “Cerchio” it gets you the top of the mountain, just to show you how nice the valley is down there. A bit darker, than Cerchio, ideal for the after-hours.

Our favorite and third track “Panorama” is already making big noise in the dance community since Fideles dropped it live. It’s peaky, melancholic and somehow positive. Showing you the light at the end of the tunnel – this tune reminds us of the soundtrack from Terminator II. Its epicness is not disputable as the breakdown comes in, bringing all the musical juice onto you. It hits you hard, but again soft – just so you can release yourself into hypnotic melodies made by Fideles.

These guys are ones to watch out in future and this EP will be out on 26th of January via Exit Strategy imprint. Both vinyl and digital are available now.
