Vlada u Kini je odlučila ograničiti javni pristup Bandcampu.
Ove nedelje pojavilo se više izveštaja da je platforma Bandcamp cenzurisana na javnoj mreži u celoj zemlji. Kao i brojne druge web stranice, Bandcamp je u Kini sada dostupan samo putem VPN-a – alata koji omogućava korisnicima da zaobiđu cenzuru i anonimno pretražuju internet.
Kineske izdavačke kuće, umetnici i eksperti iz muzičke industrije okačili su na svoje društvene mreže screenshotove blokade Bandcampa i tako potvrdili ovu vest.
